How does payment work with different currencies?
For convenience, prices are displayed in both EUR and USD. However, all projects are officially priced and invoiced in Euros (EUR) to maintain rate stability.
I accept payments via Wise or SEPA bank transfer:
Wise: Highly recommended for international clients. The platform is highly convenient, as it automatically calculates and converts your local currency into the exact EUR amount required for the final transfer.
SEPA Bank Transfer: The standard option for clients located within the European Union. Wise is also an option.
Do I need to pay the full amount upfront to book a service?
No. Initial inquiries and project scoping are completely free.
Right before the actual design work begins, a standard 50% deposit is due.
For large-scale projects (like illustration orders), the payment structure is customized into milestone-based installments rather than a strict 50% upfront deposit.
The final balance is always invoiced only after you approve the completed project.
Do you offer customized payment plans for larger projects?
Yes. For extensive projects like full series redesigns, or multi-asset commissions, I offer flexible milestone-based plans. We can split the total into smaller installments managed via Wise (for manual invoicing per milestone). This allows you to align your investment with your publishing and marketing cycles.
Are there any hidden fees beyond the initial quote?
No, the quote is fixed based on the project brief we agree upon. Additional costs are only incurred in three specific cases:
Scope Creep: If you request extra assets not included in the original deal (e.g., social media kits or bookmarks mid-project).
Concept Pivots (Restarts): While I offer unlimited revisions to ensure you love the final result, this applies to the agreed-upon concept. If you decide to change the core visual direction after work has begun (e.g., changing the character, setting, or genre entirely), this is treated as a new project. A "pivot" requires discarding current progress and starting from scratch, which will be billed as a new commission.
